Diabetic training program for Healthcare Professionals

From October 8th to 9th, 2023, Dhulikhel Hospital conducted a two-day diabetic training program for healthcare professionals hailing from 12 different outreach centers. The program’s primary goal was to enhance early recognition, early referral, screening, prevention of complications, and overall skill improvement in diabetic care. The training included a balanced mix of theory sessions and hands-on experience, covering insulin delivery, diabetic foot care, monofilament testing, and counseling. By empowering these professionals, the program aims to elevate the standard of diabetic care, taking specialized services to the peripheries and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care, regardless of their location.
