We are proud to share that Dhulikhel Hospital has officially commenced the construction of a state-of-the-art Trauma and Emergency Center, marking a significant step forward in strengthening emergency medical services for our region.

The foundation stone was laid in a special ceremony graced by the presence of Rt. Hon. Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and Hon. Minister of Health and Population Pradip Paudel, symbolizing the government’s strong commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure in Nepal.
We are especially grateful to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for their generous support of 3.879 billion Japanese Yen toward this crucial initiative. This partnership underscores the importance of international collaboration in improving health outcomes for all.
This center aims to provide rapid, high-quality emergency and trauma care, addressing the critical needs of patients from across Kavre and neighboring districts. Equipped with advanced facilities and guided by Dhulikhel Hospital’s patient-centered philosophy, the new unit will serve as a vital lifeline during emergencies and disasters.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported this initiative — from the government to our medical community JICA and the people of Japan, and the people we serve.
Together, we’re building a safer, healthier future.
