Department of Surgery organized one day workshop on Basic Surgical Skills. The workshop had hands on session in gloving, gowning, surgical knots, suturing, basics of laparoscopic instruments in animal models, simulation setups and Laparoscopic training models (ISim). The workshop was attended by 25 participants including intern doctors and medical officers. The department is planning to organize five such workshops every year.
