Spine Surgery Workshop for Operative Room Nurses and Paramedics

Forty operating room nurses and paramedics from 11 different hospitals took part in interactive lectures and practical exercises using animal models and spine models. This was the first time surgeons, scrub nurses, and paramedics collaborated on discussions and hands-on exercises about various principles of spine surgery so that they could speak the same language and work toward the same objective: “Give your best for the ultimate benefit of the patient.”
