As the Head Of Department, I manage overall department related activities. As a clinician I am devoted to patient care.  As an academician, I am involved in various academic and research activities.

I have keen interest in writing ; a regular columnist for national and weekly newspapers on health-related topics. I have published many books (health, culture and literature related).

Every year, national and international candidates are being participated in research activities under my preceptorship. My scope of research activities mostly focus on women’s health issues and reproductive health in Nepal.   Some of my scientific research articles (more than 35) have been published in national and international journals such as International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics, BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth and Himalaya.
