“During our visit, we were both inspired by the approach of the Dhulikhel Hospital as a teaching and community hospital. In the Netherlands, physiotherapists and occupational therapists often work together, creating synergy and facilitating a holistic approach with a broader perspective of therapy. Occupational therapy is context based and focusing on daily activities. We’re hoping to collaborate with Dhulikhel Hospital and introduce occupational therapy, as we think there is potential, opportunity and benefits for all stakeholders, working internationally.”
