Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital (DH-KUH) was established in 2003 provides academic and clinical services. It is also a pioneer institute to establish Bachelor of Physiotherapy course in the year 2010 at Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences.

The qualified, highly skilled and well experienced and trained (both nationally and internationally) team of physiotherapist at DH-KUH provide services  with expertise in different field.  

Our Goal: To provide excellent quality service to our patients/clients to enhance their quality of life in their activities of daily living.

Our assessment and treatment focuses on patient and family centric care using biopsychosocial approach.

We ensure our knowledge and skills are up to date with the current evidences through various training, workshops and seminars.

For our patients, the individually tailored physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, intervention and rehabilitation services provided are based on clinical reasoning and recent evidences. We use research guided clinical protocols for health promotion, disease prevention and rehabilitation which ultimately leads to functional restoration leading to optimal quality of life.

We provide quality services for inpatients, outpatients and community outreach settings treating a wide range of conditions.
